Midlake Products utilizes three state of the art Bystronic laser cutting machines in our sheet metal fabrication and custom hinge manufacturing processes from our convenient facilities located in Louisville, Ohio, just outside of the Akron / Canton area. These lasers create the perfect cut using the least amount of material possible, no matter what type of custom project it may be.

In order to produce the quality of goods and fast turnarounds that our customers have come to expect from Midlake Products, we utilize three Bystronic laser-cutting machines in our Ohio facilities. This allows us to produce each and every piece ourselves, on our own equipment, ensuring that it meets your specifications as well as our own high standards of quality without compromising on speed or efficiency.
Each of our laser machines has the following properties:

- Up to 4,000 watts of laser power
- Bed capacity of 60” by 120’
- Able to cut aluminum up to 0.50” thick
- Able to cut stainless steel up to 0.625” thick
- Able to cut common steel up to 0.875” thick
- Part accuracy of +/- 0.003”
- Part repeatability of +/- 0.003”
Additionally, Midlake uses sophisticated software that automatically nests your product, optimizing the part yield. The lasers cut with such great precision that they eliminate the need for additional tooling which can be both time-consuming and costly.
