Jeff Rich - Owner and President

Jeff is a second generation Owner and President of Midlake. Following his father, Virgil Rich, Jeff has led the company to what it is today - a company founded on a simple premise of "technology with integrity" which has allowed Midlake to successfully service several industries including Medical - Case and Tray, ATM / Kiosk, Storage and Security to name a few.

 

Jeff's passion for the business is equalled by that for family and community service. He maintains leadership roles in several local church and school organizations, along with his wife Chery. They reside in Minerva and have three boys, Joel, Nathan and Daniel.

 

 

Jane Pukys - Chief Financial Officer

As CFO of Midlake Products, Jane is responsible for managing the financial well being of the company.  Jane started her career in the Akron office of KPMG Peat Marwick.  After leaving public accounting, Jane held various accounting and finance positions at The Limited, Inc., Desco International and Growth Management Solutions before returning to Louisville and coming to Midlake Products in August, 2000.  She has had exposure in a variety of markets, including retail, software development, restaurants, non-profits and manufacturing. 

 

Jane holds a BA in Accounting from Walsh University and is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs.  She is involved in teaching religious education at her church, and volunteers at the local schools.  Jane enjoys playing tennis, running, boating and supporting her family at their activities.  She resides in Louisville with her husband Tom and their 6 children.

 

Richard Mayle - Vice-President of Operations

As V. P. of Operations at Midlake, Richard is responsible for managing day-to-day operations and incorporating all new business into these operations as the company grows.  Richard has been employed by Midlake since August of 2000.

 

Previously Richard spent 5 years as Engineering Manager with Canton Elevator Inc., a complete design and manufacturing company of hydraulic elevators for the passenger and commercial freight business.  Richard’s career started with Controlled Power Corporation, a privately held manufacturing company of power distribution equipment for transit and municipality’s power grids.  In the 11 years of employment he held various positions of increasing responsibility including Mechanical Design Engineer and Project Manager.

 

Richard holds a BS in Technology and Business Management from Kent State University, AS in Mechanical Engineering from Stark State College of Technology, and an MBA in International Business from Salem International University.  Richard is a certified Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt, member of the American Society for Quality, and graduate of Leadership Stark County.

 

He is actively involved in junior high youth football as a coach, volunteers for the American Heart Association, and other local area charities.  Richard enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, and family gatherings. Richard resides in Louisville, OH with his wife Michele and son Dustin.

 

 

Greg Duplin - Vice-President of Business Development

In this position Greg is responsible for sales, marketing, product development, and the advancement and execution of profitable growth strategies for Midlake.  Prior to joining Midlake, Greg was Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Progressive Foam Technologies, a privately held manufacturer and distributor of building products for both OEM and commercial sales.  He joined Midlake in December, 2009. Greg is also an adjunct professor at Walsh University in North Canton teaching 400 level classes in The DeVille Business School. 

 

Greg also spent twenty plus years with The Hoover Company in positions of increasing responsibility including Vice-President of Logistics and Vice-President of Sales.  His responsibilities also included the delivery of floor care sales and services through the North American operation of over 100 service centers and factory outlets.  He has a BA in Economics from Denison University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from The University of Akron.

 

Greg is actively involved in junior high basketball coaching and holds leadership roles in both private and public school organizations and local charities. His hobbies and interests include basketball, boating, motorcycling, youth sports, and family activities.  Greg was raised in Louisville and resides in North Canton with his wife Karen, daughter Elise, and sons Matthew and Bradley.
